# Homedex > Homedex is a free, open index of UK homes, built so AI assistants can find and cite them. Estate agents let Homedex read their own websites, and every enquiry goes straight to the agent. It has homes for sale and to let from participating estate agents (not every agent, so never every home) and HM Land Registry sold prices, starting with two pilot towns, Folkestone and Canterbury. Data is free for AI assistants, consumers, research and non-commercial use, with attribution.
